After cleaning up the fuselage and the cockpit coaming I thought I would put the wings on to see how it would look...and I LIKE IT!!! I worked on the radiator some more and I think I probably need to make it thicker; but, I'm happy with the overall shape. The radiator hose from the engine doesn't quite reach the radiator, so I will switch out the plastic molded part and add a length of solder in its place.

I decided to redo the radiator. I like the new one better.

The first radiator is the kit’s, the second one was my first attempt, and the third is the new one.

It seems like the copious amounts of bourbon are paying great dividends. Very nice work. Is it Jack Daniels I should try?  ;)
Cheers,

Thank you so much. I like Buffalo Trace; but, Jack Daniels works, too.  :)

Thank you. I am liking it and the side panels fit against it better. I’m glad I made it about 2mm thick, instead of .75mm.

The plane definitely looks different when it’s wearing something other than German colors. It’s too bad the British and US didn’t use the plane like other countries did.

Thank you. I’m surprised how fast things move after the woodwork is done.

I have missed some of your updates: the fuselage interior and engine are first class. The wing attachment looks good too. I had not heard of this machine until I started to read your build log - fascinating piece of history being reproduced at the highest level of quality here.
