Dornier D.1//CSM//1:48

Good Day

Let me present that very interesting bird, as IMHO it gave a great perspective for all design engineers, which way to go. All-metal stressed skin i.e. more rigid construction with external fuel tank and thick-section cantilevered wings for improved aerodynamics.
Nice and smooth play with resin, which I have enjoyed very much

regards
K

Quite an interesting design.  It appears the silver part of the wings are covered with wood or metal and only the lozenge part is fabric.
What year is this design from?

Good job on what looks like a simple kit, but those have their challenges also!

As always I enjoyed following your build. Outstanding results on what was a challenging build!

What a beautiful model! You've given us something special to look at here. Thanks for introducing me to an aircraft I didn't know too.

Very unique and very neat model. I like it very much with that subltle shading of losenge surfaces. Another lovely project to your collection!

Very nice model. I had this kit but never built it. Great to see one completed and built to such a high standard.
