RAGIII,
The 5 colors really pop when you add the cockades and tail stripes.

                                                                    Fantastic,
                                                                          Kevin

Thanks Kevin! I appreciate the comment! Yes the colors really look good with the colorful markings!

Superb paint and decalling job Rick, this is a beautiful model. Don't worry about the 1 decals. I've got you covered, masks cut and ready to send.   😉

On the plus side the Luke aircraft is progressing nicely.
Rick, your beautiful painting of this SPAD will force me to do the Luke aircraft too, out of my "American eagles" SPAD kit. That is 120% clear now!

Thanks!

So all of the decaling is done. I used the other set of Aviattic Roundels and some spare serial numbers on the Rickenbacker SPAD.

These beauties are looking wonderful Rick.  Your colors and the decals really work well to create an exciting image.  Makes me want to break out a SPAD kit and have a go! ;)  I suspect we'll see many more SPAD builds on this forum over the next few months as a result of the motivation you are furnishing with your lovely trio.  Very nicely done. ;D

Best regards,

Bob

That top wing looks a bit low...was that an adaptation to improve pilot vision?

Super finish on the Rickenbacker Spad. Looking forward to seeing the other two now.

Stephen.
