I originally started this in 2012, then got bored / AMS with models in general. In the mean time i have continued buying models, lol and even started a few. Now since lockdown it’s got boring WFH sitting in zoom meetings endlessly, I needed a distraction even if it was only to get away from burning my retinas out looking at a screen all day.
I pulled out some of my started models and so far have finished two. One even wwi.

Without further ado here are some in progress shots, sorry i didn't take any early images back when I restarted in august.
First pictures i took were in october when i was trying Ricks oil streaking... The process and effect are great, half assed attempt is all down to me. Upper wing with oil stripes. I painted over AK interactive Real colours - which i love. Thank goodness people are rediscovering spirit based paints... (grew up with floquil brain cell killers and absolutely hate water based acrylics for airbrushing masking etc)

Btw, there is an obvious big mistake on this image and on my build. I even knew the detail. But just forgot... some of you will say idiot you left the inspection cover on the wing.... As my wife said above, i can be slow....lol

Now the last picture was taken at 12 noon, and of course I got cocky and was doing the zoom round the room to flying noises routine and this happened. Oops
