1/48 Dragon Fokker D.VIII

(1/5) > >>

Ktrum7:
Hi Folks,
I haven't been modelling much lately. This is my first attempt in over a year. Of course one must start with the cockpit, so here it is, right before I close her up:

Chris Johnson:
Lookin' good! Good to hear that you're returning to the fold after a long absence.

Cheers,

Chris

coyotemagic:
You're off to a great start, Mario.  The cockpit looks fantastic.  It's great to see you jumping right into a build on your third post.
Cheers,
Bud

GAJouette:
   Mario,
Excellent beginnings my friend. Great little kit too,but a word of caution on her PE parts. They're tough to bend and somewhat more difficult to work with than the regular PE brass. If I remember correctly they're made from nickel. Looking forward to your next update.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Ktrum7:
Gregory,
Not only that, but they are very small and my eyes are old! My eyesight is one of the reasons I don't model much anymore. I should really tackle the larger 1/32 models, but this Dragon model had been around too long and there's very little rigging to do.
I have an older Glenn Torrance Fokker D.VIII 1/4 scale R/C model that will get built next year.
