Nieuport N-28 C.1
« on: October 12, 2012, 07:59:37 AM »
This is a 1918 original which was repaired and pressed into service after an emergency landing by a US pilot of AEF early 1918. Many thanks to Gunther for sending these photos and allowing them to be posted on the forum.

Indeed she is! Got to get me the Roden 1:32 Kit. The available colour schemes are varied and spectacular. This one is pretty worn and tired however for good reason. Once again, Thanks Gunther, for the posting, Neat!
Cheers,
Lance

Messieurs !

Yes, she is worn, after WW1 she was used for acrobatic flight shows, too; but she is a real combat veteran!
The colours are not the AEF colours, I assume.
... and its a real Nieuport 28 C 1 !

Gunther

further notes on Hanriot and Nieuport will follow soon! stay tuned !
