Warbirds 1/72nd Vacform Snipe

I must say, this was a neat little kit. I just finished all the rigging and it really looks nice and captures the character and pugnacious stance of the little Snipe. As it sits on the table, it has a much "bigger presence" than it's tiny scale.
If I could do it over again, I'd do a better job on my interior. I also just realized I missed some rigging in the top wing opening and the fin as well as didn't add the Aldis gun sight. Those are easy enough to fix. I do like the "between the wars" colors. This must have been a really neat plane to fly...
Thanks especially to Dan Hayward for sending me the great decals. Much appreciated and they went on perfectly.
Cheers and thanks for indulging me on this post-war Snipe...

She ended up being a very attractive looking model Dan, the rigging turned out really well and the scheme is stunning, overall this is an excellent model.

Beautiful job Dan! Hard to tell it is in such a small scale!

How you can turn out a model of that quality from a vacuform just beats me! That is a wonderful model - and the colours/markings make it even more attractive. Never mind the missing interior details - the model is great just as it is.

Very nice, you're a brave man doing a vac. Great, and unusual, color scheme too.

That's a great result and an inspiration. I've had this kit in the stash for many years and had pretty much given up on it as the Eastern Express kit is readily available. Now that I've seen it built It will be kept for a future project.

Unbelievable what you have made here! Vacform? 1/72nd? Never its WNW 1/32nd.
Great. Chapeau!
