As promised here again a stripdown model, this is from the Japanese company Aerobase in scale 1/72 and was a Christmas present by my lovely wife.
The Wright FlyerThe brass is much thicker compared to the Eduard ones: easier to build, but not so original. The kit is very complete, which includes also the black base, the bicycle and white metal casts for pilot and engine. The PE was soldered an the biplane painted by airbrush with Gunze followed by wood imitation with oils. One interesting thing was the manual: after I completed the rigging according to the manual there were still some anchor points open on the model. I started research on the net and find other plans from original and bigger model kits, which helps me to understanding and finishing the rigging.
Now you know my collection of those rigged biplanes and it was a pleasure to share it with you!
Cheers,
Frank
