Hello from Portugal
« on: February 21, 2016, 12:21:24 PM »
Hello :-)

Its the first time im building an WWI but im loving it! I build models since i was 6 (i'm 46) but only now i try to build one of this "crazy flying machines".
Well i must confess that im a little bit afraid to start because if i like it... when i was a kit (10-12) i was on my hobby shop and an old man (modeller) asked me if i would like to build one of WWI kits, i reply that they were ugly. He told me one thing i never forget till today, once you build one of this you will not build nothing else...  :-\
So... i think i will not finish the one i started, a 1/48 Eduard Albatros D.III.
Now that i told you this i come here to learn with you guys that i presume are the best around, i hope i can share something of what i (hope) will learn too.

Thank you for receiving me  :)

Great to have you joining in, Vitor! Welcome and I hope you find great inspiration! For a first model, just build it to the best of your ability - it's always a great feeling to finish something, then build some more!

Regards,

Marc

Welcome aboard, Vitor!  The old man was right.  Once you build one of these crates, you're hooked.
Cheers,
