« on: February 17, 2016, 05:15:20 AM »
I would gladly buy the Lloyd FJ. 40.05 by Legato in 1/48 for a reasonable price  ;)

Albatros one can always try eh? I came across it a few years back when I'd started to build WW1 planes and I didn't know how rare it was:(((

one never knows sometimes sellers are reasonable and fair other times they think the product was cast in gold instead of resin.the 1i saw went for close to $200 to me ridiculous.its been that time meticulously scratchbuilding before I'd pay over 75 - $80.I used to own 2 legato kits s berg 30.24 and lohner d.1 .I was forced to sell them last year when I lost my job.overall the kids are just fair in quality.but they are very interesting subjects which is why they are so in demand.I intend to just scratch build a 40.05 one day when the motivation strikes me.the fusilage is a basic built-up box and the wings are basic the only hard part is done is the front nose part.but I think I can manage it's

I agree with Albatros prices can sometimes be ridiculous even. I remember one guy fromy eBay trying to sell a Lloyd kit for around 350 dollars!!!
When it comes to 40.15 I'm trying to convince one of my friends to scratch build it and to copy it in resin.
If he won't I'm also seriously considering building one from scratch. Do you have any plans or other information on the ugly one?
What a pity that you had to sell your kits:( I always tell my wife that should something happen to me she should ask the most for the kits in the ugliest boxes;)
