Hello from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
« on: April 20, 2015, 10:46:53 AM »
Hi:

Just joined the forum, but I noticed that I have seen some of the builds on this sight over on Hyperscale Airfix and 1/72 forum so I guess there is some overlap.

I build mostly 1/72 scale but the small parts of WWI aircraft tempt me to try some 1/48th for WWI.

In general, the biplanes I build have a higher chance of ending up on the "shelf of doom" so I have a number of unfinished models.

But I do get SOME done and my recently finished 1/72 Revel Fokker EIII (which is NOT a biplane, you may notice) is the first model I have done rigging on.

I am also a fan of LTA (lighter than air) so if I can get my hands on a WWI Zeppelin (rather than the AMT Hindenburg I am currently building, which doesn't fit in this time period) I may build a Zeppelin or a balloon of some sort.

Somehow my ability to collect WWI models exceeds my ability to finish models so I have a decent stash of kits, maybe I can use this forum as an excuse to drag some out!
