H-B W.12 Rigging Question
« on: April 10, 2015, 11:45:42 AM »
Does anyone know where the rigging between the floats is secured? The rigging diagram in the instruction booklet is not real clear only showing that the terminii are somewhere near the junction of the floats and struts:

Also in the booklet is this photo which seems to show the rigging attached to the side of a float:

Confusing the matter (for me, at least), is the fact that I don't see any locating holes in these areas as per usual for WnW.

Any help would be greatly appreciated . . . thanks!

Hi Mark,

I had a long ponder over the photos for my build too.

Bertl posted something on this in his tips and tricks I think. It is different from the W.29.

Basically I think they went into attachment points on those vertical brackets on the floats which attach to the horizontal beams if that makes sense?

Maybe someone else can comment further?

Best wishes with your build.

Dave :)

Hi Mark,

I think the point of rigging application on the floats is pretty much like the W.29.

Wow, thanks Dave and Bertl for clearing that up rather nicely! Btw, my paint arrived today so I'll be working on finishing the floats this weekend.  :)
