I have just watched this and have immediately started the recorder to watch it again
People who have studied WW1 for years in depth will maybe find things to criticise (though in the wider context I would argue unfairly so). However that notwithstanding as a piece of film-making and explanation for the general viewr of the nature of the 14-18 conflict as it impacted on the participants I will unhesitatingly assert that this is the best I have ever seen bar none.
..........well, I do have one criticism, taking a flight in a Biff the film maker made out going up in such a flimsy plane was fraught with danger - it looked a damned good and eminently safe plane to me!
