Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to ask you if Windsock Datafiles is still in business? I ordered the reprint of Datafile 82 Felixstowe F.2a in mid December 2014 and have not received it yet. My emails have gone unanswered, which is disappointing. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Best regards,
Mark

They don't print huge runs, so I'd imagine they are reprinting another run & you'll get it in due course.

Number 82 was on offer as a "reprint" along with the W.12 and W.29 Data Files "to be published/available in January 2015. I'm sure they will be shipping soon, my order for the latter 2 included!
Cheers,
Lance

Ray posted this message in his forum shop, it may ease your mind.

Hi Guys,
The Xmas break and some technical issues have unavoidably delayed these until the end of the month. We appreciate your patience and understanding. All out- standing orders will be despatched the day we receive delivery here.
Best, Ray

Thank you Ray. That makes me feel better. I'm old fashioned in that having a real book in my hands is just more satisfying than viewing on the internet, though the web is a wondrous source of information.
Best regards,
Mark

You can't pinch and zoom paper, nor can you easily carry your whole library of printed references wherever you go.

A little of each is fine, I love looking up my books but I also like searching the net, best of both worlds

I could not agree more. The hunt (search) for data (info) on the web is quite compelling. The wealth of data out there is mouth watering, if you search deep enough.
Enjoy,

When I'm at the workbench, I prefer paper though.
