Produced by Airco, Hendon
Shipped to Australia on SS Australmad,
To CFS AAC 24/09/20 as D3191;
To 1 FTS AAF 31/03/21,
To 1 AD 01/08/21, became A6-16.
To 1 FTS 6/23, modified to dual controls,
Crashed on landing 07/10/25 at Nhill SA (crew Flg Off F R W Scherger and Leut D Ross RAN), total flight time 489 hours.
To 1 AD for storage 21/10/25 pending overhaul,
To 1 FTS by 07/26,
Damaged 08/09/26 at Geelong Vic (crew Cdt E G Knox-Knight) when it hit a cow while landing.
To 1 AD 21/10/26,
To 1 FTS ‘B’ Flt 28/03/27 for repairs, flying at 1 FTS by 11/27.
Damaged 29/11/28 at Point Cook when taxyed into by S.E.5a A2-31, minor damage and Puma engine was recorded as over 200 hours and performing well.

Thanks guys, you are too kind!  Thanks also Andrew for the extra history on this aircraft.  My reference photos are from "The Imperial Gift" book and I also noted with amusement that the aircraft hit a cow (poor cow, I wonder which fared better, it or the aircraft  :o).  I am not surprised though - I went flying in a Tiger Moth a little while back and we also had some runway obstacles to deal with along the same lines.... (and this photo was taken straight after we landed!)
