Thinking about getting a WNW Roldand DII and have a question about this AC. What are the two windows on the fuselage for? They seem to be too low for a vision port and looking at the pics of the WNW DIIa it appears that there's curtains on the windows. Curtains? Maybe a bud vase as well.......

I also read, in one of the Datafiles I think, that they were also escape exits for the pilot and observer. Since the upper wing was not elevated above the fuselage, this makes sense.
