Not sure exactly which Scale Aircraft Modelling magazine this appeared in because I cut the pages out and it doesn't have the month on the footer, but it was quite a few years ago might be August 1990?)
No personal opinion being expressed here, I am just putting it out for comment. Does anyone do this sort of thing?

Useful as food for thought. Some silly and/or pendantic assumptions though imo. (Who decreed we must judge models from exactly 12" away? What atmosphere are we trying to emulate-- London or the New Mexican desert? etc)
