Jasta 30 Albatros Decala 1/32
« on: September 04, 2014, 02:56:29 AM »
I know that Pheon does a Jasta 30 decal sheet for the Pfalz D.IIIa, are there any decals in 1/32 for any Jasta 30 Albatros?

Thanks,
James Sontag

Hello James, yes we are currently putting the finishing touches to a Jasta 30 Volume 2, which will include Albatros D.V and D.III, Fokker D.VII and Pfalz D.XII examples. These are based on the new information in Bruno Schmäling and Winfried Bock's superb new book from Aeronaut Books. If you haven't yet got hold of this, I really urge you to do so, it is a corker!:

The Profiles and decals will be revealed on our website and on here for pre-orders, together with a similar multi-type set for Jasta 17, in the next week or so.

Thank you Rowan, you have made my day. I do indeed have the Jagdstaffel 30 book. Just finished reading it for the second time now. That is great  news about the upcoming Jasta 30 decals. A Jasta 17 set to? Wow! Those will be sweet ss well.

Thank you,

Man, Rowan, if you could do the Jasta 17 and Jasta 30 sheets in 1/48 scale, that would sure make the few remaining quarter scalers quite happy, myself included.
Cheers,
Bud
