Hello from Macedonia
« on: July 13, 2014, 11:58:28 PM »
Hello
I am Aleksandar - Culi from Macedonia. As for all of you, my field of interest is WWI aviation, although I like biplanes in general. In everyday life working as a technician in culture and cameraman, and in the evenings on planes :) I am mostly doing 1/72 and especially like to work on homemade details and improving older and cheap kits. Also have started some scratchbuilds, now working on Smer DH.2 in 1/48... so, different, but usualy slow :D
The process meters...  therefore so much models are stuck between start and finish

Hello Alksandar and welcome to this wonderful forum. It would be great to hear more about the way you've been improving the older models. Good luck with the SMER DH.2 ( Was that the one first released by Merit?). I've done the Eduard 1/48 DH.2 and found that a challenge. Good luck!

Best wishes
Nigel

Welcome aboard Aleksandar,
You'll find a lot of friendly like-minded people here! Coincidentally, I also work in 1:72 and prefer the old kits - my last one was a Pegasus Bristol M1.C of 150 Squadron RAF, in Macedonia!

Hello Aleksander and welcome to the forum, it is so good to have you here. It's great to see another 1:72 scale builder join the forum, I am always amazed at the talents exhibited by the smaller scale builders and I look forward to seeing your work posted here soon.

Thakn you all.
@Nigel: It is that one, old merit. I made the interior so far, and thinking now should I correct the wings or to live with them as they are. However after this excursion in 1/48, going back to 1/72 :D

Cheers
