Thank you very much . I started the build log for the Fokker DVII on Jan 18 2013 . the title is :

WNW Fokker DVII MFJGr1,Gotthard Sachenberg,1918

There are photo`s in the Completed forum under same title . I not sure how to do the links to the sections :(

nice job, i really like the cowl too. we all use the same basic technique but excellence is in the hands of the artist. this is not an easy effect to master , it looks great.

Hello Willi:

Congrats on your first place with the Eidecker.  It really looks the business.  As Rick mentioned, the turned cowling, sets it off nicely, just an all around great job.  The sublte staining with smoke is a nice touch.  I will have to try that, thanks for posting and sharing.
