Hi all!
« on: January 26, 2014, 07:55:22 AM »
My name is Stefano and i am an italian man living in Vienna, Austria.
First of all: sorry for my bad english grammar bur i learned it "on the field", principally speaking with ppl, listen songs and watching TV movies...  :)

About modeling and WW1: i was in my youth (35 years ago, more or less) a modeler, than my life changed and i done with models. Some mounths ago i restart to modelling and i subcribed myself on an italian modeling forum, but there ppl wants to build almost olny Jet Era models and instead i love propeller airplanes, especially WW1 and pre-WW1.

I searched online and i saw this beautiful site...

I have very little experience on modeling WW1 airplanes but i want to (re)start to do it. I am sure i will find good material and (more important) good friends here.

For now i just sit myself on a virtual coach in this forum and start to read all, then i will ask questions.

If it's made from wood and canvas and flies, it's my friend. And the friends of my friend are my friends too

Welcome Stephano.  I felt as you do with the appeal of the WWI era aeroplanes when
there seems to be mostly modern-type sites available.  Luckily for both of us we have
found Des's site.  You will find, as I have, many friendly, talented and helpful modellers here.
Good to have you aboard.

Cheers,
Ernie :)
