I agree with all that has been written above - a really good build of a real old timer. Excellent detailing and paint finish. Did you say that you had problems with the markings? I cannot see anything to worry about - in fact I would have been proud to have made that.

Bud/Lone Modeller -

Thank you!

Bud - I will probably stick with brush painting in that case!!!!

Hello Dave:

I always enjoy seeing what can be done with these old Chestnuts and your Barraca Spad really turned out nice.  Your cockpit detail really shows through nicely and the paint work is truly a work of art as Bud wrote.  I have another one of these and am often tempted to pull it out and do it in Lukes Scheme.

Best

Hello, Mark

Thanks, mate - appreciated!

Actually these old kits really make for a pretty straightforward, pleasant build experience.   They also have scope for as much detailing work as you have the skills and patience to apply.  The main downside is that EVERY part needs cleaning up prior to assembly so prep time is extended with these kits.   Also, the top wing in thi kit (from the box) has an upward bow like a banana - you therefore need plenty of hot water from a kettle and a bit of trial and error to get right.

Please have a go at one of these old Revell kits - I would love to see what others could wring out from them.

Regards

Dave
