Another from the land of Wingnut and the Vintage Aviator
« on: May 06, 2012, 07:26:38 AM »
Hi

After spending far too much time in the TVAL hanger at Hood airfield taking photos of aircrat it is time to take the plunge and buy some WNW kits.I am very lucky to have had closer access than many to the aircraft which has allowed me to take lots of detail photos of the aircraft which I am sure will help. I am very much an out of the box modeller, and normally do cars, so I am absolutely blown away by what you guys are producing. I am going to get a bit more adventurous this time with the tips from Des' website and the pearls of wisdom popping up on the forum.

Hello Tony and welcome to my new forum, I am so glad that you have landed here. I look forward to your participation with the forum and I hope to see photos of your builds soon. Having access to the TVAL fleet and being able to take close-up detailed photos will be a great asset, please feel free to add your photos to the Aircraft section where Jamo has already started to post his own photos.

Hi Tony
Nice to have another Kiwi on board. Do you live in Wellington? I am in Tawa, and like you, head over the hill to Hood Aerodrome on a regular basis.
