Hello, Gentlemen
« on: May 01, 2012, 09:27:16 AM »
Mr. Jouette suggested I stop in here, and I am glad he did. I recognize a lot of names. For those who do not know me, I have periodic fits in which I scratch-build obscure Great War subjects, in 1/72 of course....

I do occasionally go more modern, with kits....

And a little something for the walls in the mess....

Old Man, this is the finest collection of esoteric models I have ever had the great joy to gaze upon.  These are all planes I'd love to have, in 1/48 of course ;)
And, of course, I would like to have 1 tenth of your talent.  Brilliant work, my friend.  So glad that Gregory pointed you in our direction.
Cheers,
Bud

Welcome aboard my old friend.I'm so glad you've joined us. I'm looking forward to following your Master Quality projects here on the forum. Congratulations to you for your truly amazing collection of scratch built aircraft. All the more amazing is the fact that they are in 1/72 scale. Outstanding craftsmanship, skill and talent.

Old Man, Sir!
Beautiful work, doubly so considering they are in 1:72. I too am "old" (at least in a chronological sense) and wouldn't dream of working in the small scale. I gave it up in my 40's and, after a run in 1:48 Scale am now a devoted 1:32 Guy; hopefully my fingers won't grow any fatter or eyes get fuzzier or I may find a very reduced choice of subjects in 1:24 Scale!
Very enjoyable to view and my compliments on your obvious talents. Glad you joined.
Cheers,
Lance

Welcome to the forum:

Neat stuff that you scratchbuilt.  Always fun to see what is out there.  Nice wall paper as well.

Best
