Welcome Andi! I'm impressed with your efforts using eyelets and tissue paper. Such creativity and experimentation will stand you in good stead with WWI modeling, and should help you lick any modeling problems that you may encounter. You have created a nice selection of connectors that will likely prove useful. They look great!

I built the SH Morane last year, and it's a good basic kit. Just be sure to follow the build logs for the usual fit issues and other problems, none of which are overly worrisome. The rigging of a monoplane can be a bit challenging, particularly with the resin pullies and tiny PE brackets for the cabane posts, but if you take your time you should be fine. If I could do it, you surely can. My IRAS Morane is somewhere over in Completed Models, if you want to take a look. Unfortunately, no build log.

Have fun with it!
Regards,
Bob
