Hello friends, I'd like to introduce you to my latest project. I'm currently building a LOHNER L model airplane. I'm building it based on a paper model from Orlik and plans from Windsock. I invite you to watch and comment.
I often find inspiration in some of the very nice card model designs, Great War era aeroplanes and armoured cars in particular. They provide a good starting point for scratch building in other mediums. They help provide a good starting point for visualizing the subject and provide the opportunity to experiment with card and paper.

I'm waiting for my inspiration to come back and I'll start modeling again
Cheers
It will return soon and you will dive in new found vigor. Inspiration and creativity can not be rushed.
I quite like the Lohner and other similar flying boat and seaplane designs of the early 1900's and Great War eras. There are plenty to choose from and all similar in concept but differing in their details. Sitting in what is little more than boat with a great huge and load engine just behind and above must have made for a very interesting flying adventure.
cheers, Graham
