10APR2026- No interest in the last batch of kits (not all bad news- I may get too keep the Dolphin!), so I'll take a break before working on what to put up next- and taking the photos.

Cheers, all.

Dal,
I?m sorry your collection isn?t selling on this forum. It looks like you have reasonable pricing especially with the aftermarket items included. Personally, I only build 1/72 so there is no interest for me. I do have a few thoughts though.

Offering them here is a very small arena of potential buyers. It may take people longer to find your post because of infrequent site traffic.
The members here may already have these kits in their collections.

International shipping is hurting everyone and is a huge factor for many people, especially in my scale.

Thank you for offering them here first. If you are done listing here, I think you will have better success on one of the larger auction sites.
Good luck!
Tim

Thanks for taking the time to give me your thoughts, Tim. International P&P is climbing quickly, almost as if governments were trying to discourage it. The situation hasn't been helped, from the view here, of the interruption of normal air services due to the Iranian war. I'll see how things go on one of the Facebook markets, and it may be that I will need to drop my prices. I'd like the kits to go to modellers, though, not re-sellers nor collectors. More than that though, I'd like to be 10 years younger and building them myself.  :D

1/72? I don't know how you smaller scale modellers manage to include the details you do.

Cheers, mate.

Dal.

Hi Dal,
I think the prices are reasonable but post to Uk is too expensive really plus I have what I need. I think it would be worth opting on one of the WNW FB fans pages as a lot of trading goes on there, and your target audience has to be Oceania cos of P&P.

Two things. I think most people on here already have a stash of WNW kits and are more likely to be sellers than buyers. I build exclusively 1/32 and over the last two years I have built up a WNW stash that means I don't need any more (the Fokker EI is the only one I am looking for). Second, here in the UK WNW kits can be had for very reasonable prices if you stay away from eBay and auction sites. For example, there is a second hand dealer in the UK (Models for Sale) who sells WNW at very reasonable prices - I recently bought from him a Hansa Brandenburg W12 for GBP180 and an Albatros DV for GBP120. People try and get silly prices for those on eBay.

So for me in the UK, your kits (with postage) are too pricey. I'm not sure how big the market in Aus is for WNW right now.

Thanks for the replies, gents.

DrDave, I'm thinking the same, mate, as I say to Nigel. So I'll probably drop the prices quite a bit on this board, to offset P&P a bit. They're far more likely to attract a builder here, rather than a collector or re-seller.

Nigel, as I said above, I thought price would be a part of it. There were some truly high (and, surprisingly, really low) prices that threw off the averages (silly me didn't bell curve the data). Using your figures the two-seaters are a bit cheaper, but the fighters well over. Perhaps $250AUD (GBP131- why won't the board recognise the sterling symbol?- and $175.03USD) for fighters, which is about average on the Aussie FB groups, and $280AUD (GBP146.94 and $196.03USD) for the two seaters. No idea what price I'll put on the Gotha and the E.III + DH.2 dogfight double box, once I prise my fingers off them.

Sorry, mate, I never got the E.I.

Gents, I doubt I'll get any international orders, international P&P has gone feral. Postage for one (fighter, but should be the same for a two seater) kit to the US or UK starts at $67AUD! Plus the direct airways from Oz to Europe are a bit of a mess for the moment, and mail/parcels will be delayed (or lost) for a while.

Stay well, gents, and thanks for your thoughts.

Dal.

G'day, Wayne.

If the AUSPost site (https://auspost.com.au/sending/parcels-overseas/standard) isn't lying to me- and I keep the weight under 1kg- then it will be $26.40 P&P, so a total of $306.40AUD, mate.

PM sent, mate. Vincent changed his mind.

Cheers.

Dal.

Via Paypal, please, Wayne. My email address is in my profile, mate, and I don't mind paying Paypal's 3% take. Let me know when you've done the transfer, please or if there's a problem. As soon as the transfer's made I'll get the kit into the mail for you. I'll also pay for the extra insurance. I'll send a message via the site message service with my email address, just in case it's not visible in my profile.

Thanks, Wayne. You'll post piccies when you start building it?

Dal.

PS Please send the delivery address via the message system here or via my email, mate. I'll probably need that.

PPS I've got two Gaspatch Vickers I was going to use in either the Snipe or Dolphin. I'll throw them in to replace the two missing bits on the weapons sprues.
