Finally completed the Pegasus Albatros DIII (Oef) 253 series. Finished as as one of Franz Peter's aircraft from Flik 3J in 1918 - he finished with 6 victories. After the war he served in the Polish airforce. Used the excellent Blue Rider Sworl decals and markings. Scratch built the struts to replace the white metal versions that are too short. The Pegasus kit is a nice kit that goes together well (like every Pegasus kit I've made). The Blue Rider decals went on very easily - and I have to admit I really like the pattern, although picking out the details after I'd applied the decals was difficult as they completely disappear unless strongly side lit! Rigged with stretched sprue (as I usually do).
