1/32 DH.9 'D.II' of the Irish Air Corps
« on: November 14, 2025, 05:09:35 AM »
hey guys

my model of DH.9 'D.II' of the Irish Air Corps around 1923. Based on a photo of the aircraft without wings taken around the time showing it with its gun still fitted aswell as showing the aircraft had a the later rear section similar to that of the DH.9a. The wings are fitted with bomb carriers based on British Pathe footage of Irish aircraft at the time. The kit is the standard wingnut wings kit with the addition of a Proper Plane prop, control cable parts and Rexx Exhausts. The figure is Copper State Models.

Very nice. And in the rarely seen livery. I like it very much. You have just reminded me how great that WNW kit was/is.

Lovely job all round on this one Sam. I agree with Przemo, the markings make this a bit different and well done on getting the Gold for this one.

I agree with both! Very well done and a somewhat unique Scheme!
