I had planned to do a Campbell Nieuport or Rickenbacker SPAD after my Lufbery Ni17 but my plans for the next build changed while reading this book...

Many months ago the "Department of Social Activities" and the "Ministry of Finances" both conspired to schedule time away during the critical time allotment for the Group Build. The Department heads, (coincidently the same person) will not be made aware of this scheduling conflict so as not to jeopardize further interdepartmental relations.
The end of the Group Build notwithstanding, inspired by the book, I am going to build the two kits I have as a tribute to Barker.

He was a Victoria Cross recipient for his amazing skills demonstrated during combat on October 27, 1918.

Like many others, the high point of his life were the war years. Suffering as so many, many others did, his civilian life never reached the level of success of his combat years.

I will build and post here of course. I will do the Snipe first and get the painful build overwith and then, hopefully, the Camel should go smoothly.
Thanks for heading up this Group Build Brad, it's been most fun indeed.
I would have loved to sneak in a third build but SOMEBODY had other plans....
