For the few here interested in 1/72 resin kits of the late war Fokker V- types
Omega Models have a nice selection of these, including the V.17, V.23, V.25 and V.37. The V.27 and V.29 have been on the list but were long unavailable.
I have lately found an Omega V.29 in an online shop in the Czech Republic, but couldn't purchase it as the owner has ignored my emails after an initial friendly reply.
I then asked Milan of Omega if he could buy it for me and ship it with my next kit order. Milan not only bought the kit but used it as a basis for re-issuing the type, and I have received a new V.29.
Two weeks ago a V.27 appeared on Ebay, with a ridiculously high cost of shipping (from Germany).
I have contacted Milan again and asked if he would buy the kit and use it as he did with the V.29, promising to buy the first one. He said there was no need as he can use exsisting parts fron other V-types for the V.27, with a modified V.37 fuselage.
So the V.29 is now back in the Omega catalogue, and the V.27 will follow soon.
