Hello all!

My apologies that it has taken me a little while to compile this post; I have been moving house interstate for the last few weeks, which has been rather time consuming!

Firstly, a big THANK YOU for all who participated in the Dave Wilson Memorial Group Build. We had excellent representation from the group, with a strong number of build completions (25 by my count). Many builds were either Pfalz or SE5 aircraft, tribute to Dave's passion for these aircraft types.

An even bigger thanks to those that managed to get more than one build completion - RAGIII, Allan31, NigelR, Tim Mixon ? thank you so much!

Here are some pictures of the completions that I have tracked (in no particular order) - apologies for any completions that occurred prior to June; for some reason the forum isn't showing those posts - please let me know if I missed any out!

I will be passing the link to this thread to Dave's family, so that they can get an appreciation for the impact that Dave had on us all, and the support we all have for them.

If you didn't manage to get your models completed, not a worry! Please continue to post progress updates here to completion, and we can add these onto this thread.

Thank you again, I very much enjoyed watching this group build and seeing the passion and support out there from you all!

Kindest regards,

Brad

Thanks for heading this up Brad, it's not easy.
I hope his family knows how much we appreciated having Dave at the controls.
Blue Skys and Godspeed Dave.

That's a lot of great modelling inspired by Dave. He worked very hard to keep this corner of the modelling world going and his efforts have been much appreciated.

Blue skies Dave.....

Thank you, Brad for setting these together.
Congratulations to everyone who completed and participated - it is indeed a rich and worthy collection.
And, above all, may the memory of Dave be with us forever. Once again, blue skies, my Friend, let us meet one day in the heavenly modeling workshop.

Congrats to all involved - and to Dave's family, a small indication of our esteem and affection for our friend.

Beautiful, all of them!
I didn't get mine finished in time, mainly due to a) the unannounced entry into my life of a beautiful lady, and b) a safari in Tanzania. I'm sure Dave would have appreciated both as legitimate reasons!
I'm still working on it (slowly) and will keep updating as progress is made.
Thanks, Brad, for organising the build!
