'Lukgraph' 3D printed BE2c
« on: August 29, 2024, 02:37:43 AM »
Hi all,
Another bit of news from 'Lukgraph;.

Mike

The RAF BE2c 1:32 scale is next fully 3D printed model.
Each wing is printed with 2 holes ready for reinforcement with 1.6mm wire.
Struts and undercarriage with holes for 0,8 mm steel wire.
There are also a few improvements over the cast version.
Improved fuselage, separated ailerons from wings.
Landing gear in one piece.
BE2c will soon be available in 1:24 scale.
The new BE2c (also Premium set) model is already available in our store.
The cast version will no longer be available.

It will be interesting to see if they redo some others. I've emailed Lukasz and suggested they correct the Oeffag Albatros wings if they redo that kit as a 3D print. There were no rib tapes on the Oeffag Albatros, so it should be fairly easy to just remove these in the CAD program.

Thrilled to see this come up in my facebook feed!
The detail on the wings and fuselage sides is so much nicer in this fully printed version.  And they appear to have fixed the profile problem on the turtle deck which was what stopped me from investing in this kit previously.  This will be in my stash very soon!

Cheers,

Hugh

The chatter on their Facebook page seems to indicate that they will!  Certainly the have stated that they will be doing the Alb W4 this way.

Cheers,
