Greetings from Perú
« on: December 12, 2012, 07:40:35 PM »
Hi, my name is José Silva and I'm from Lima, Perú. I'm 30 years old and have been a scale modeler since I'm 13. I started building 1/72 WWII German aircraft, and still is my favourite subject, then I started building WWII and some modern 1/35 vehicles, mostly tanks as I like tracked vehicles, never leaving 1/72 aircraft, I also bought some modern aircraft for my collection (I only need the MiG-17 for my MiG collection). Now I started buying WWI aircraft, also in 1/72. An Airfix Bristol F-2b was the first one, it is a crude kit but I like the aircraft a lot, then I bought an Albatros D.Va... Later, a Hannover CL.IIIa and a R.A.F R.E.8 were added. The Roland C.II is also on my plans (also from Airfix). Now I really like WWI aircraft and more will be purchased, all in 1/72. I'll post some of my progress here as time permits (I started a new carrer: Architecture), I'm a good scratchbuilder and I use to modify and detail my kits a lot so expect some nice modifications ;) Kind regards.

José.
