F/S BBC Wings Series 1 & 2 DVDs

Selling series 1 & 2 of the BBC TV show I bought in the UK (i.e. you will need a Region 2 compatible player to play it). A couple of the discs have some minor scratches on them, but these do not cause any skipping when played (at least on my DVD player).



Asking AUD20.00 plus shipping cost and would prefer an AU buyer if anyone is interested.

Caveat emptor: The plot and acting can be pretty bad, though might have nostalgic value to those that watched it on TV when it first aired.

I vaguely remember the series when it was first on (I was 9-10) and I got the DVDs a couple of years ago.

Very much in the 1970s BBC period drama pattern - if you liked the Duchess of Duke Street, Poldark, Secret Army etc, then this is along the same lines.  It is mainly about the characters, and their wartime experiences, but that isn't a bad thing?  Check out internet reviews for further details perhaps about flying sequences etc.

Highly recommended, I enjoyed it anyway!
