Tripehound or Alby?

The triplane fuselage consists of white metal cast bulkheads and wooden? stringers. The white metal parts are vile, at least those that come with the Albatros. Still I am sure it could be built into something absolutely stunning. I think it comes down to personal preference...

Ps

Tripehound or Alby?

If you choose the Triplane be prepared to scratchbuild a new fuselage, engine, wing struts and many other parts. See here:
http://www.lazuli.com/n_projects/n_dons_projects/n_fokker/index.html

With the Alby, well... you have to discard the top and bottom fuselage longerons (not present on the real aircraft) and fill the square holes provided for them in each frame, possibly make an all new Mercedes (the cast pieces are mostly unusable) or wait (like I'm doing) until Bo upsales his Mercedes parts to 1/16...  ;)

You will also need new Spandaus for both... fortunately Gaspatch offers them: http://www.gaspatchmodels.com/machine-guns-1-16/
