Revell 1/28 Fokker Dr.1

This one sat for years on the shelf of doom before I finally got around to finishing her.
I should do a touch more but I'm breaking things left and right and think it's as good a time as ever to move on to other projects.
Look, squirrel!
( Okay, I do get distracted easily )
Here are some of my glamour shots. Thanks to all for looking in on my madness.
I hope you like her. Good old kit that is older that I am!

Beautiful model, Dan! The Streaking looks great...was it
done in oil paint? Regardless, you did a super job, my friend.
Cheers,
Ernie

A really nice looking Dr.1 Dan, the overall finish on this model is superb.

Nicely done, Dan. Must feel good to polish off an old project, and the result is beautiful. Nicely photographed, too.
That kit brings back a few memories from the 1970's
Cheers,
Gary

Lovely DR1 - like your colour/marking scheme.
These old large Revell kits really do build into great models with a bit of effort.

I can only agree 100% with what has already been written. I am glad you finished it - it was really worthwhile as you have an exceptionally well finished model there.

It's a wonderful model, Dan, with a great convincing streaky green finish and some really neat stripes! I like it a lot!

I really like the streaking as well as the scheme you`ve chosen. The aspect of your tripe I don`t like is the propeller - its shape is pretty bad looking - especially the hub.
In general it`s looking really great! Congratulations!
