Ok, since no one else has asked, why are you getting rid of most, or all of your Wingnuts kits, von Liquidation? ???

George

I was just getting ready to ask the same question George! I hope all is well von Buckles!

Well, I need to fund a trip to New Zealand and selling off most of my Nuts will go a little way towards the air fare.

I'm not one of those modellers who worries if a kit goes out of print. I won't regret selling most of my Wnuts, I will regret never getting on that plane.
The kits have gotta go!

I'm working on a fair method of selling them. I will rely purely on market forces and this will be based on an escalator based on bids. I sell one kit at a time. Each kit has a 7 day window to be bid on. Members PM me their bids. I keep you all updated via the escalator. The member who wins the kit will remain anonymous.

So, it will go something like this.
Albatros  DV for sale. Box photo with contents.

Starting time & Date (GMT) 22.00hrs 23rd December 2015
Ending time (GMT)  22.00hrs 30th December 2015

Someone bids £10 via PM. I strike off the £10 so members know to bid higher. Another bid comes in @ a squillion quid and so on... ;-) Oh... and I get to fly business class if that happens! lol
If someone snipes a bid in the last few seconds and I can verify it, it will count.

It all comes down to you guys and how much you want the kit. Market forces wins & it takes away any favouritism on my part.

£10
£20
£30
£40
£50
£60
£70
£10000000000000000

Hope this makes sense.

Sounds like a very fair way of dealing with your sales Bob, good luck with the auctions and hope it goes a long way towards your airfare.

Hi Lance,
 Good question.
I need to take a 'Nut' of average weight to my local post office and have the dude call out some prices for domestic and international shipping.
I'm on it!

i ship and get shipped to frequently so my guess is between $15 and $20 to ship 1 kit to the u.s. i imagine this would mainly make sense with oop kits as the ones we can still get from wnw would cause too great a loss for you . ie if you sell a pfalz "god forbid" which can be gotten factory fresh for $69 flat or 45.72 pounds sterling from wnw assume @$15 shipping this would mean you would have to sell at $54 or 35.78 pounds sterling.@20 shipping you would have to sell at 32.46 pounds to match what one would have to pay for one direct from wnw. no one is going to pay more for something so easily gotten direct from the maker.and this doesnt even figure your loss due to vat. oop kits you can ask for bids and whoever wins pays that plus actual postage.

I cannot even fathom Von Buckles parting with a Pfalz, it almost reeks of heresy to even suggest that!
Best of luck with the sales Bob, this is how I funded a trip to Oz some years ago.

Ah I get it Von Bob, you sell off all your WnW kits to get to NZ so you can buy more to bring home - I like it   ;)

Go for it  :)
