A link to my Friends WNW and Other WW1 1/32nd kits for auction
« on: December 11, 2015, 10:41:39 PM »
Some of you may have seen the posts I made about a friend selling his WNW, Roden, and Special Hobbies 1/32nd WW1 kits. After correspondence and examining what he paid via E Bay I advised him to try to sell them through the same Venue. He has posted his kits based on what he paid. Some are high and some are reasonable, ( at least reference the opening bid). For those interested there is an RE8 although somewhat pricy for me. If interested take a look.  I am not benefitting in any way from this listing, just passing on the info.

I thought I would give this one a Bump following the WNW price increases. The Junkers J1 at $87.00 is now a bargain  ::) Someone also mentioned Roden kits being more attractive and my Friend Mac has a few listed now. No profit to myself from posting this. Just a heads up.

Very good prices but the postage to Australia is the killer.

I entered  Australia in the ebay shipping calculator for the WnW J1 and it came up $44+, but that's PRIORITY Mail International. If you could get the seller to ship First Class Parcel (it still goes by air between continents), the cost is about 1/2 that of PMI. At times, it seems the ebay shipping calculator defaults to "Priority" (most expensive other than Express), and I wonder if that's because, for some time now, ebay also gets a cut from the seller of the shipping as well as the item cost.

Absolutely it is, and its even worse when sellers use the Global Shipping Programme. Double the cost of Priority, and often with a 'customs fee' as well. A total rip-off.

I don't know if it is an option but I am sure Mac would be willing to work with an overseas customer if requested/ possible.
