WNW Rumpler C.IV
« on: October 10, 2015, 11:45:55 AM »
OK, I think I finished this one.  I posted some of the build in the under construction forum.

Some of the pics aren't too great but I think they'll give you an idea of what it looks like.

Very nicely done Robert, I really like your colours, what brand and colours or did you mix them?
Cheers,

I don't think that the photos are too bad. I think that the model is superb, especially the finish and rigging.

Lance,  I used Tamiya acrylics but I mixed the colors myself.

Very nice build!  Would you mind listing the colors you used for the wings and fuselage?

Sure, my pleasure.

I used Tamiya acrylics.  The fuselage and wing greens  are XF 71 Dark Green and  XF 71 Cockpit Green.

The mauve was a mix of X16 Purple, XF 2 white, and XF 52 Light earth.   I don't remember exactly what the ratio was but I think it was equal parts of the purple and white with about a quarter of that in the light earth.  You might need to play around with the ratios until you get what you want.

Have fun.
Robert
