Albatros Dr.1 1/48 Eduard
« on: September 01, 2015, 10:02:19 PM »
hello,

I started this old model:

I started 10 years ago : carnage!  ;D

Currently I redid the reliefs of the cockpit and some details

I continued with painting.

Here, I realized a pre-shadowing on a sandy base.

But it is too dark, and it's visible after application of decals Aviattic. It's too late!

Following soon!  ;)

Cheers

Arnaud

I think the shading looks pretty good, actually.  Perhaps you could tone it down with a light overcoat.

Outstanding work on the interior framework! As you have discovered the Aviattic Lozenge is very transparent. You could try Drews suggestion, perhaps a light beige overspray, or light bluish grey?
