Randalf Streisand, a Goblin Mechanic by Painting Buddha
« on: August 23, 2015, 05:01:22 AM »
Hello,

being on summer vacation means that I can't really build models, but I want to do some modelling and my answer to this issue is this fantasy bust of a goblin mechanic - Randalf Streisand, one of the Nose Bro's :)

This a extremeli fine resin bust by Painting Buddha and comes together with instruction videos. Here is my first ever attempt at painting such a miniature, not quite succesfull, but probably during the second repaint it will be way better :)

Best regards,
Sasho

That looks great, Sasho, but how did you get my brother-in-law to pose for you?  ;D

That's quite a snout and he looks like he could do with some dental work, extremely well done Sasho.

Sasho,
I think the bust is AWESOME! Quite an unusual subject but very well done!

thanks you for the positive comments :)
I like how this one is shaping, it is slowly coming to where I want it, but still a lot of work ahead. Last night I got the goggle lenses painted and started on the goggle leather and the leather cap. There is a lot of work to be done on those two, especially the cap which is in very early stage. Only the future will tell where this journey will end :)

best regards,
Sasho

How do you chaps paint in the ways that you do? You must have either some form of artistic training or simply a better eye for colour than me - I simply could not begin to get a model to look as good as this! Congratulations and keep us posted on progress.

Ssasho, I think this guy is beautifully ugly! Congratulations!!

The eyes are great! I also love the way you have the reds and greens playing off each other. The helmet looks good, as well.

Keep going, dude!!

Cheers from NYC,
Michael

George, you mis-typed....I thought you told me this was your identical twin brother?

Michael, how insensitive of you! My identical twin is very self conscious about the tragic farm "incident".  :'(
