It seems the "de-planing" took place when the garage wasn't open...and when I went out there on Saturday morning, one of them was already in there napping! So it seems they've found another way in. That's fine as they've not really done much damage up until now - not to models that matter, anyway - but I will be more careful about how I store the in-progress ones from now on.
The worst was a diecast Corgi 1/72 Spitfire...the plastic prop was nibbbled on beyond repair so it now lives in its box. It was a gift, but similar models I've seen in shops go for more than $100! I had an Airfix Catalina suffer the same fate as a child...and more recently an Airfix Gnat's tail....
Anyway, thanks for the commiserations and compliments! I look forward to Saturday's rigging session and, hopefully, moving her to Completed Models on Sunday!
