Fokker V.1 1/72 Scratch Vacform

All,
I'm calling this guy done. I scrounged and painted a prop, put on some manufacturer's plates on the front fuselage sides and one on the top of the mid wing section. At least that's what I think they are...
I also put on cockpit edging. The fuselage was weathered a bit and it is the worst part of the build.
Next time, I'll make a smooth fuselage and do better on my stringers. A hole was also cut in the bottom of the cowling for cooling. I also put in a seat and stick but that's about all you can see in there...
All in all, this was a very satisfying project. Thanks to all the folks who cheered along the way.
Cheers,
Dan
Oops! I just saw I forgot the aileron controls coming from the top of the fuselage and the airspeed indicator on the bottom wing...D'oh! Those should be pretty easy to fix, though

Very nicely done Dan, the finish is really nice especially the wood and the metal treatment, an unusual aeroplane but in a way very cute

Outstanding results! Your build was fun and informative! Historically much more important aircraft than most of us realize! Beautiful little bird!!

Fantastic job on a very unusual little kite, Dan!

Now that is a really interesting subject and extremely well done. The colours are most convincing. Relatively simple but still a real eye catcher.

Thanks, Everybody. Considering the talent assumed by the responders...I'm in good company!
What's next? I think maybe a Fokker triplane prototype or a D-VIII. We'll see what happens. I'm also finishing a Staaken transport vacform which is taking lots of time!
Thanks again, everyone...Dan

Rather neat looking aircraft , never heard of this type . Different set up for the flight controls . Wonder how effect this would be ?
