Meikraft SPAD XIII, 1:72, Frank Luke
« on: April 10, 2014, 07:55:41 AM »
Well, here she is after a long break, finally ready to go into the cabinet. It's been a tricky one, not least the rigging, but I think I found a workable solution and all I learned will certainly help with the Muromets when I get to that stage!

The wing decals played up a bit and aren't as smooth as I would like but it's not glaring so I can accept it.

I hope you like her as much as I do, and thanks again for all the interest and advice along the way.

Ian

Ian,

It was good watching your build log and even better now seeing it all complete!

Beautiful job - well executed all round.

Phenomenal work, Ian, especially considering what you started with!  She's a beauty.
Cheers,

Following your build log and now seeing the finished product has been a real treat. You should be very proud of your efforts and the end result, this is a superb looking model and hard to believe it is only 1:72 scale. The finish on this model is excellent and your rigging is brilliant, congratulations Ian on a job well done.
