What's not to like with the Bavarian Albatros, FF.  Your vignette looks
great...nice attention to details.  I like the wear shown on the Alby's wheels.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

The finish is excellent! Hard to imagine combat aircraft were painted in such gaudy schemes.

That is one very attractive bird, excellent work with the wood and the decal application, and the vignette is very fitting, well done.

Your Albie it's truly amazing. You also did a great job putting the diamond decal in it.

Congrats.

That's spectacular, mate.  I've always liked the Bavarian lozenge on aircraft and yours sets it off really well.

Brilliant stuff.

Thanks all for the kind words.... again I think the photos may be a little flattering. The diamond pattern decals look fine now, but took a fair bit of work to cover up my botched application. Learning is half the fun - I think ''patience' might have been the lesson I learnt here!

Very nice, FF!  How did I miss this one?  Lovely scheme.
