Hi all. My name is Henry, and I am from Seminole, Oklahoma. I just got into building WWI stuff recently, but I have been building for over 30 years. I'm not a prolific builder, there are more unfinished builds on the Shelf Of Woe than on the completed shelves.
My first WWI subjects were the old Monogram Fokker DR.I and Spad. They flew the skies of my childhood bedroom along with B-17s, Mustangs, and the USS Enterprise, with some Germans and Klingons here and there. My next one was the Roden 1/48 D.VII Lowenhardt. It was a fairly easy build, but adding the rib tape decals nearly caused me to loose my sanity, what little there is. I picked up several of the Eduard WWI kits, but haven't cut plastic on them yet. Earlier this year, after considerable cajoling from a friend of mine, I bit the bullet and aquired the WNW D.VII OAW kit then later, the D.IIF kit when it came out.
I'm currently working on the D.VIIF, which, isn't a difficult kit, but it is more involved than say, a Spitfire or FW-190. Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot.
