hello from the UK
« on: May 27, 2013, 10:15:28 AM »
Evening All,
Just introducing myself as a modeller who has returned after a 30+ year break. Actually I have been modelling again for about 18 months and am mainly focussed on WW1 aircraft and in particular conversions. I only work in God's Own Scale as I do not have the space and cash for the larger scales but I really admire them and have great respect for those who make them. The other problem is that I do not have the skills to do proper justice to the larger models so I stick with the smaller ones where my mistakes do not show so clearly!
Looking forward to the contents of what is an excellent site.

Welcome, lone modeller. Sounds like your situation mirrors that of a lot of the people around here. Looking forward to seeing your work.

Nice to have another "proper scale" modeller here - there can never be too many.

Welcome LM. Nothing wrong with "God's Scale" and I'm always totally impressed with the detail you Guys produce working in team with your trained spiders! As for the break from the Hobby, surf around here, you'll be amazed at how many of us are "returnees"!
Cheers, and enjoy,
