Hi from Oz
« on: May 16, 2013, 05:30:27 PM »
Hello all,
I've decided to get back into Models as due to a number of health issues, I am not as spry as I used to be.
I've been model making for a while (Wayyyyyy back in the day) and am building up my WW1 kits & experience
before I tackle my Hasegawa 1/8 Sopwith. I also have a nutty thing about Radial engine models and have been collecting
a few of those over the last 10 years. I stumbled over Taurus Models which has given me even more things to save for :P .
Fell across this site a while ago, but only recently joined.

One thing that had me gobsmacked was what the Canberra War Memorial did to their SE5a and PFALZ ( I saw the pics on this site). I used to live there and most times I visited over the years, they were on the ground albeit on a raised platform floor near the G for George Lancaster.

Welcome Ctefehinoz!  I think you will find as I did that the people
here as as warm and gracious as you could wish for.  Even better
they are so knowlegeble, and can inspire you with their amazing
modeling skills.  Being new here as well I happily found that.

 Best Regards,
Ernie
