In my post about weathering a plaster base, I made mention of how important research is. Well guess who didn't research well enough?
That's right. Me. I realized after I looked at my reference pics again, the reason I was having issues with my aftermarket for my Albatros engine, was because I ordered parts for a Mercedes DIIIa. My engine is a Mercedes DIII. So I ordered the correct timing gear aftermarket and while I wait, might as well pull the wrong stuff off and prep it for the correct stuff.
My eyeballs are very mad at me right now.
Once again, more error and less trial.
